Many Miami-Dade families pay for our Homestead microschool with state education scholarships. An ESA for eligible students with unique abilities is usable toward small-group instruction like our microschool, and if you already manage funds in the EMA platform you may be able to put them toward your child's spot.
Eligibility and award amounts are determined by the State of Florida and the scholarship funding organizations.

What is a microschool?
A microschool is a very small, intentionally tiny school. Our Homestead microschool caps each group at 12 students, combining the personal attention of homeschooling with the routine, community, and project-based learning of a classroom.
What grades and ages does the Homestead microschool serve?
The Homestead campus serves grades 6-12 (ages 11-18). For grades K-2, see our Kendall microschool.
Where in Homestead does the microschool meet?
Classes meet at our campus at 120 N Krome Ave, Homestead, FL 33030 — in downtown Homestead, convenient for families from Florida City, Princeton, Leisure City, Redland, and Cutler Bay.
What days and hours does the program run?
Our 4-day program runs Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM — a focused weekly rhythm that leaves a long weekend for family time, co-ops, and activities.
How much does the Homestead microschool cost?
Tuition is $8,000 per year (or $800 per month), plus a one-time $1,000 registration fee per student. Many south Miami-Dade families offset this with Florida education scholarships.
Can we use a Florida scholarship to pay for it?
