Service Policy

This page is a simple overview. Detailed terms live in the electronic Terms of Service Agreement each customer signs for their specific service.

General Terms

We do not use long-term contracts.

Everyone signs a Terms of Service Agreement specific to the service (pods, hub, classes, consulting, events).

Either Eaton or the customer may end services at any time. When that happens, our Refund Policy and Pro-Rata Policy below apply.

Payments

Fees are due as listed in your agreement or invoice.

Late or failed payments may pause services until resolved.

Any discounts or promos must be on the invoice to apply.

Refund Policy

Non-refundable:

  • Event registration fees
  • Field trip registration fees
  • Elective class registration fees
  • Learning pod registration fees
  • Homeschool consultation registration fees

If Eaton cancels an event/class and we can't offer a reasonable reschedule, we'll issue a credit or refund for that canceled session.

Pro-Rata Policy

Monthly fees are not pro-rated for partial attendance or missed days.

  • Homeschool consulting monthly fees: not pro-rated
  • Learning pod monthly fees: not pro-rated
  • Elective class monthly fees: not pro-rated

If Eaton cancels a session and can't reschedule it, we will credit or refund that canceled session. (Customer-missed sessions are not credited.)

Make-Ups & Absences

Missed sessions (illness, travel, appointments, etc.) do not receive credits or make-ups unless we state otherwise in writing.

Please notify us if your child will be absent.

Weather & Closures

Safety first. Eaton may close, delay, or move online for severe weather or building issues. We'll notify you by email/text.

If we cancel and cannot reasonably reschedule, we'll credit or refund that canceled session.

Behavior & Fit

We aim for a safe, positive environment.

Eaton may remove a student from an activity or end services if behavior or safety is a concern, or if the program is not a good fit. Refunds follow the Refund/Pro-Rata rules above.

Health & Safety

Please share allergies/medical conditions in advance.

Staff do not administer medication except emergency treatments (e.g., EpiPen) with signed authorization.

Keep students home if they are sick or contagious.

Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Supervision

Arrive and pick up on time. A late pick-up fee may apply.

Students are supervised during scheduled program hours only.

Field Trips & Transportation

Some trips are parent-supervised; others are Eaton-supervised—we will state which in the event details.

Transportation is the family's responsibility unless otherwise stated.

Technology & Materials

We may ask students to bring a device or supplies. Families are responsible for personal items brought to programs.

Photos & Media

We may capture photos/video for internal use and marketing.

Don't want your child included? Email us to opt out; we'll honor it.

Communications

We primarily use email and text for updates, reminders, and schedule changes.

Please keep your contact info up to date and check messages.

Homeschool Status & Compliance

Eaton is not a public school. We provide educational services and support.

Families remain responsible for meeting state homeschooling requirements unless you've engaged Eaton to handle paperwork as part of your service.

No Guarantees

We work hard for great outcomes, but we do not guarantee grades, test scores, admissions, scholarships, or similar results.

Privacy

We collect only the information needed to provide services and communicate with you. We do not sell personal information.

We may update these policies occasionally. The most current version will always be posted here.
