At Piñata Party, kids 6 and up spend a Saturday morning building and decorating their own piñata by hand, with tissue paper, paint, glue and plenty of color.
This hands-on craft workshop turns simple materials into something bright and festive. Kids choose their colors, cut and fringe strips of tissue paper, and glue them on layer by layer until their piñata bursts with color. Streamers, paint and finishing touches make every piñata one of a kind.
Along the way, kids practice fine motor skills, patience and problem-solving, and they get to share ideas and cheer each other on at the craft table. By noon, each child has a festive piñata they made from start to finish, and a big sense of pride to go with it. Spots are limited, so reserve early.
