Makeup Magic is a fun, age-appropriate class where kids explore color, creativity, and self-care in a warm and encouraging space. Each Friday, students gather around a vanity table filled with brushes, palettes, and soft shades to learn how makeup artists think, and to discover that looking after yourself can be both creative and confidence-building.
We start with the foundation of it all: healthy skin. Students learn simple skincare habits, why cleansing and sun protection matter, and how to keep their tools clean and hygienic. From there, they explore color, learning how to match shades to different skin tones, how colors work together, and how brushes and applicators each have their own job. Projects focus on natural, fresh looks and playful creative designs, always emphasizing that makeup is a form of art and self-expression, never a requirement.
Throughout the class, kids practice patience, precision, and a steady hand, and they learn to give and receive kind, constructive feedback. The atmosphere is lighthearted and supportive: lots of laughter, lots of trying new things, and plenty of cheering each other on. Students leave each week feeling more confident, more creative, and more comfortable in their own skin.
